Thames Valley ILCA Open at QMSC on 27 July 2025
On Sunday 27 July 2025, Peter, Ilker and Tom took their ILCAs to the rearranged Thames Valley ILCA Open Event at Queen Mary SC. Unfortunately Henry was unable to join this time. 9th Saga Trophy Race, Thursday 26th June and Series Summary
Image by Chris Wade The Saga Trophy is over for another year, signifying that we are sadly halfway through the Summer evening sailing. The 8 th race of the series was sailed in relatively light conditions, which suited the ILCA7s. Topper open meeting at Tamesis Club on 24th May 2025
Tamesis Club hosted 22 boats for the Spring 5 round of the London & Southeast regional Topper series on Saturday 25th May 2025. The trophy, the Murray Vines Cup - rumoured once to have been won by Sir Ben Ainslie, was awarded to Oscar Lay for the third time!!! Thames Series Merlin Open - Sondown Cup and Elizabeth Bowl 18th May 2025
Sunday May 18th was the Thames Series Merlin Rocket Open sponsored by Craftinsure for all ages of boat competing for the Sondown Cup (for the overall result) and the Elizabeth Bowl (for the first vintage boat).
